Otis Property Deeds Show Wide Price Gap as Most July Sales Go Undisclosed

The Middle Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded 13 Otis property transfers between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only three disclosed a sale price. Those ranged from $75,000 to $525,000, with a median of $200,000 among the disclosed sales. The month's top transaction was 2152 East Otis Rd, sold by East Otis Rentals LLC to Peoplesbank for $525,000. North Main Road saw the most recorded activity, with three separate deeds. The Town of Otis or its Conservation Commission was party to three transfers, and financial institutions appeared as buyer or seller in four deeds. Price transparency was limited: 10 of 13 recorded deeds listed no consideration amount.
